How to get Pokécoins in Pokétwo
Pokécoins are what everything in Pokétwo runs on: the market, auctions and most of the shop. Here is every way to get them, free and paid, and roughly how much each one is worth your time.
What Pokécoins are
Pokécoins, written PC, are the main currency of Pokétwo, the Pokémon bot that lives in Discord servers. You spend them on the market, in auctions and in most of the shop, and because they are tradable you can hand them to another player.

Pokécoins vs shards
Pokétwo has a second currency, shards. Shards are premium: they are bought with real money on the official store, they cannot be traded, and they are spent on page 7 of the shop on redeems, incense and the shiny charm. They can also be bought in game for 200 PC each.

Six free ways to earn Pokécoins
- Catch PokémonCatching pays out at milestones: 35 PC on your 1st catch, 350 on your 10th, 3,500 on your 100th, and on up. Steady, but slow once the early milestones are behind you.
- Complete questsPokétwo sets quests that pay PC when you finish them. See your active ones with
@Pokétwo quests. - Sell on the marketList a Pokémon with
@Pokétwo m add <number> <price>and anyone can buy it. Collectors often buy specific Pokémon in bulk. This is usually the best free earner once you have catches worth selling. The market guide walks through it. - Run auctionsAuctions let players bid on a Pokémon you put up. Rare catches and good IVs can go for well above their market price.
- Flip the marketBuy underpriced listings and relist them higher. Profitable, but only if you already know what Pokémon are worth; it is easy to lose coins learning.
- Release PokémonEvery release pays 2 PC. Worth it to clear out a full box, not as income.
Buying Pokécoins
Pokétwo does not sell Pokécoins itself, so they are bought from other players. The cleanest way to do that moves the coins through Pokétwo's own market, with no account sharing at any point:
- Pick an amount and payChoose a pack or any amount up to 1,000M on the shop page. Larger orders cost less per million; see the price guide.
- List a Pokémon at that pricePut any cheap Pokémon on the market priced at exactly the amount you bought, and send us its 8-digit market ID.
- We buy the listingOur account buys your listing and the Pokécoins land in your balance. You can track the order on the site and get an email when it is done.
You never give anyone your Discord login, password or a token. The only thing we need is the market ID.
Questions
Are Pokétwo Pokécoins the same as Pokémon GO PokéCoins?
No. They are two unrelated games. Pokétwo is a Pokémon bot that runs inside Discord servers, and its Pokécoins (PC) only exist there. Pokémon GO PokéCoins belong to the Niantic mobile game and cannot be moved to or from Pokétwo.
Can you buy Pokécoins from Pokétwo directly?
No. The official Pokétwo store at poketwo.net/store sells shards, a separate premium currency that cannot be traded. Pokécoins themselves are earned in game or passed between players, which is what a coin shop does through a market listing.
What is the fastest free way to earn Pokécoins?
Selling Pokémon on the market usually beats everything else once you have catches worth selling. Catch streak rewards and quests add steady income on top, and releasing Pokémon only pays 2 PC each.
